Share Our Suzy carries on the legacy of Suzy McGrane, a sought-after photographer in South Carolina, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in her late 20s. A beloved daughter and friend to many, Suzy took her zest for life and channeled it into battling cancer with all her might. Her loved ones rallied around her, coming together to help Suzy through her courageous battle with the grassroots initiative, Save Our Suzy, established to help alleviate the financial burden of her treatment. This act of love would lay the foundation fo decades of generous giving that would change the lives of many, all because of Suzy.

While the void of Suzy will never be filled, her legacy and spirit lives on. Save Our Suzy is now Share Our Suzy, focusing on honoring her strength, resiliency, and desire to help others in need. Through fundraisers, donations, and partnerships, Share Our Suzy provides assistance with things that insurance doesn’t cover – things like transportation, groceries, mortgage/rent payments, utilities, childcare, wigs/prosthetics, and lymphedema garments. This assistance not only eases the financial burden but allows patients to focus on their health and well-being without the added stress of financial insecurity.

The ladies SOS serves are more than just patients: they are mothers, grandmothers, sisters and daughters. SOS aims to alleviate some of the hidden financial challenges that often accompany a cancer diagnosis.
